General Information
On-line Catalog:Throughout the Approved Dealer Equipment on-line catalogs, you find a feature called "Service Tips." The tips, which call attention to a piece of equipment or a process that uses a tool, are helpful in maximizing the use of the equipment through routine maintenance and providing vehicle service according to established service procedures.
How to Find Items:
You can navigate through your equipment program on-line catalog in several ways: You can locate items using the item search or keyword search functionality (upper-right corner of the screen). You can also browse the catalog using the category selection.
The custom or dedicated catalogs for Collision, Toyota Express Maintenance, and Techstream are all subsets of the main Approved Dealer Equipment catalog. These custom catalogs eliminate the non-applicable equipment for that application.
All prices displayed are current.

Invoicing
We will invoice you as soon as we ship the product. Freight will be prepaid and added to the invoice unless already included in the published price. Payment terms are net 30 days. We also offer leasing. Just ask one of our customer service representatives for our current lease rate. All financing decisions must be made when the product is ordered.
Warranty
The supplier of each product issues its own warranty and performs all obligations under that warranty, with a one year minimum. We have requested that specific warranty information be packaged with the product prior to shipment. Please contact us if we can be of any assistance in coordinating warranty information or service.
Return Goods Authorization
In the event you need to return a product, please request an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) from us either by phone or fax. All products must be new, unused and in the original carton. After receiving approval for return, the product is to be shipped to the address provided, with freight prepaid. We will issue you credit, based on the credit issued by the supplier. All suppliers set their own policy regarding return freight, refurbishment, repackaging and restocking charges.
Price Information:
Purchasing through the program offers competitive prices. The Tool and Equipment Program's pricing is FOB supplier's location and does not include U.S. inland freight unless noted. Pricing does not include exporting cost such as freight forwarders fees, shipping, duties and taxes.
For some of the larger or technical products, such as lifts or wheel alignment systems, on-site assistance from a sales representative may be required or would at least be helpful. Contact a customer service representative to find out if these arrangements can be made in your area.
Freight Policy:
When not included in the purchase price of the equipment, freight charges are added to the price of the equipment and charged to you. A freight estimate can be provided upon request.
Delivery/Installation/Training
DeliveryOrders placed will be delivered to the “ship to” location as promptly as possible. Delivery methods vary from a common carrier (Snap-on Business Solutions proudly uses UPS for the vast majority of shipments) to full size tractor trailers. If you have ordered something large enough, a forklift or similar device will be necessary to off load from the truck. The need for a forklift should have been covered during the ordering process, but to avoid potential issues with delivery, be sure to confirm whether or not a forklift is required and who is providing it.
UPS Next Day Air, UPS Second Day Air, USPS OVERNIGHT, and USPS PRIORITY (2-3 DAY) orders must be received by 10:00am Central for same day shipping for product that is in stock. Please note that orders may take 24-48 hours to ship as fulfillment may be subject to our suppliers' cut-off times, processing, and lead-times.
Installation
Some equipment can be installed by the purchaser with common hand tools and common sense. Equipment that is large and complicated should be installed by a dedicated / experienced installer. Most equipment pricing does not include installation, so confirm with the Approved Dealer Equipment customer service representative whether the equipment you are ordering needs to be installed by a professional and whether the installation expense is included in the purchase price of the equipment ordered.
Training
Most suppliers to the Approved Dealer Equipment program offer training for their equipment at, or shortly after, installation of their product(s). Sometimes the training is provided over the phone; sometimes the training is presented by the installer. Discuss your training needs with a customer service representative during placement of your order.
Tool and Equipment Safety
Tool SafetySafe tool use is everyone's business, and responsibility. Wearing safety goggles is one of the most important things you can do, especially when working with striking tools or power tools that rotate. The products in this catalog are produced by a wide variety of manufacturers and they all provide good advice on how to use their products safely. We recommend that you read and follow all manufacturer's warnings. Protect yourself and those around you.
Equipment Safety
The same applies to the equipment in the dealership: safe equipment use is everyone's business, and responsibility. The best protection when working around power equipment is proper training and paying attention to details. Be proactive when operating power equipment and follow the guidelines for safe operation from the equipment’s manufacturer.
